Seven roads will be closed by Mumbai police for vehicular traffic in South Mumbai today as Mumbaikars are all set to witness a grand victory procession of the Indian Cricket Team that won the ICC T20I World Cup 2024.
The victorious team have returned to the country today morning.
The procession will be held from 5-7 pm on Marine Drive between Nariman Point and Wankhede Stadium.
DCP Zone 1 Pravin Munde have requested all those who want to attend the procession to reach before 4:30 pm and assemble on the promenade side and not on the road.
DCP also informed that victory lap is being held in Wankhede Stadium at 7 pm. and request all those who wish to attend to ensure they reach and be seated in the stadium before 6 pm. People have also been urged to use the public transport system to avoid traffic congestion.
