The Weather Department (IMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rains in the city today.
Over the past 24 hours Mumbai’s island city recorded an average rainfall of 78 mm.
The heavy spells of rain in Mumbai on Saturday led to waterlogging in some areas, but the local trains are operating normally.
Due to heavy rains, a balcony of Rubinissa Manzil, Grant Road Railway Station collapsed at 11 am today, some portions were hanging dangerously.
The MHADA had declared the building as dangerous before monsoon and had issued notices to the residents to move out.
