Crocodile seen at Mumbai’s BKC, spread fear in the people.
The Forest Officers advised people not to go into the Mithi river after a crocodile has been spotted in the river near Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on Wednesday.
Atul Kamble of the Wildlife Animal Protection and Rescue Association visited the location and informed the forest control room. With city lakes overflowing and drains flooding due to heavy rains, it is likely that the reptile was displaced, or there is also the possibility that it lives in the river itself. People should not venture into the river, Kamble said.
