Reacting sharply to the objections raised on distribution of burkha to Muslim girls, MLA Yamini, Jadhav posed various questions to the opponents.
Firstly, she asked, I arranged Sehri and Iftar in Ramzan to Muslims during Covid, why was I not questioned, just because I was on the other side?
She went on to ask why we were not asked when Yashwant Yadav sanctioned 2 crore for Eid Milad just because we were on the other side?
Yamini also asked when she used to organise blood camp why was she not questioned whether the collection of blood contain the blood of Muslims or not?
Yamini said “I attend festivals of all religions, my Hindutva is not so weak that it would get effected by attending any religious festival.
Yamini reminded “Balasaheb Thackeray never forbade us from mixing with people of other religions.” She also very boldly asserted that before every Diwali such distribution will be continued.
