A Mumbai-bound Vistara flight from Germany’s Frankfurt with 147 passengers and crew, had to make an emergency landing after it received a bomb threat, today morning.
The Boeing 787 aircraft was taken to the isolation bay for security checks at Mumbai airport، passengers were disembarked and all mandatory security checks were undertaken. The bomb threat turned out to be a hoax.
In the past few days, Indian airlines have faced multiple hoaxes, forcing flight diversions and delays, increasing operational costs.
With this incident 20 flights of Indian carriers have received bomb threats in a week، out of which 13 bomb threat calls have been made in 3 days.
