The Samajwadi party had asked the Maha Vikas Aghadi, including Congress, not to release their list of candidates for Maharashtra elections without discussing with it and had asked for 12 seats.

However, the MVA not only announced the first list but also allotted only 2 seats in place of 12.

Inorder to convey his dissatisfaction, Akhilesh Yadav visited Dhule district on Saturday and announced the name of Irshad Jageerdar as the party candidate from Dhule City. Akhilesh also declared that sitting MLAs Abu Asim Azmi and Rais Shaikh will be the party’s candidates from Govandi and Bhiwandi East and Riyaz Azmi from Bhiwandi West and Shaan-e-Hind Nihal Ahmed from Malegaon Central.

This shows all is not well in MVA and it will be a difficult task for the INDIA bloc to keep Akhilesh with MVA.
