Fahad Ahmad was the state President of the Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, youth wing of Samajwadi party.
Over the past few days, Fahad Ahmed was in touch with NCP working President Supriya Sule, state unit President Jayant Patil and senior leader Jitendra Awhad.
Fahad Ahmed will contest the Anushakti Nagar seat where he will face Ajit Pawar-led NCP candidate Sana Malik, the daughter of Nawab Malik.
