Nagpur police traced Jagdish Uikey, as the sender of the chain of hoax bomb threats to airlines thereby causing panic, disrupting fights and causing immense hardship to the passengers, security officials and airlines.
Jagdish Uikey is the author of a book on terrorism He was arrested in 2021 in a separate case, police said.
More than 300 flights operated by Indian carriers received hoax bomb threats this month.
Jagdish is on the run after the threat calls are traced back to him.
