Kolkata’s JN Ray Hospital announced it would not provide treatment to any Bangladeshi patients indefinitely, after the anti-Hindu violence, attacks on Hindu temples and insults to the Indian flag in Bangladeshi.
The hospital also urged other hospitals in Kolkata to stop treating Bangladeshi patients.
India has played an important role in their independence but
despite that, we are witnessing anti-India sentiments, hospital official said.
On Friday, a mob vandalised three temples—Shantaneshwari Matri Temple, Shoni Temple, and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Temple—in Harish Chandra Munsef Lane area.
