The entire Nawab Tank Road and the Nawab Tank Bridge plunge into darkness after sunset, for more than a week now, posing serious threats to the locals, especially to the children and senior citizens.
The said area is prone to house breaking, many incidences of robberies have taken place in the area in the recent past.
The locals are upset due to the absence of street lights for such a long period, despite lodging complaints to the BEST.
