Radical preacher convicted in UK

A UK court convicted Radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary of terrorism offences, including directing a banned organization Al-Muhajiroun and encouraging support for it through online meetings. The organization was banned in 2010 but continued to exist under different names.
Choudary was arrested in east London on July 17 last year. The sentencing will be announced on July 30.
Anjem Choudary was jailed In 2016,
for encouraging support for the Islamic State. He was released in 2018 after serving half of his five-and-a-half year sentence.
