72 killed, including 14 policemen, in a fresh Bangladesh clashes, between protesters and supporters of the ruling Awami League. In the fierce clashes many have been injured.
Few days ago, over 200 people were killed in violent clashes between the police and student protesters in Bangladesh demanding an end to a controversial quota.
The protests over the government jobs quota restarted today with demands for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.
The Bangladesh Home Ministry imposed an indefinite countrywide curfew from 6 pm today. Prime Minister Hasina said that those engaged in sabotage across Bangladesh are not students but terrorists.
