*India can stop genocide in Gaza: Iran Envoy.*
India, being a powerful and important country can use its ‘influence to stop genocide’ in Gaza, Iran’s Ambassador to India, Iraj Elahi, said.
Elahi believed india can do it due to its strong and good relations with Israel and has been a historical supporter of the Palestinian cause.
“Since the beginning of the tragic events and crimes of Israel in Gaza, I repeatedly mentioned that India is an important country, is a big power and influential country in the international community with good relations with Israel and Iran said Elahi.
“So, there is an expectation that India can and should play a more active role in the current crisis and tension in the region, he said.
