MHADA warned people to not pay any amount online as a fake website has been created by fraudsters.
On Tuesday, MHADA filed a complaint with the Cyber Cell after detecting its fake website in which citizens are given an option to pay deposits of Rs. 50,000 directly and getting “receipts”, for its recent lottery of 2,030 houses in Mumbai.
MHADA has urged the public not to pay any amount or
share personal information with unauthorised individuals, and
avoid using the unofficial websites.
