Navi Mumbai crime branch arrested, a drug and alcohol addict, 23-year-old Sameer Shaikh on 21 August,
who killed a 25-year-old vegetable seller, Sushil Kumar Ramsajeevan Vind in Ghansoli. The police suspect Vind was killed after he resisted Shaikh’s attempts to rob him.
The police searched footage from150 cameras which lead to the arrest of the murderer.
Vind lived with his cousin in Mulund.
