MNS supremo Raj Thackeray has strongly warned Maharashtra theatre owners against screening the Pakistani blockbuster film, The Legend Of Maula Jatt – starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan – in the state.
The film is scheduled to be released on October 2, in India.
“Art does not have national borders, this is all right in other cases, but in the case of Pakistan, this will not work at all. Everyone remembers the action we took last time against theatres screening Pakistani movies, Raj said.
Ameya Khopkar, president of the MNS Cinema Wing, also said, “This movie will not be released, we will not allow any Pakistani actors or films in India. If cinemas dare to show the film, they will face consequences,” Ameya Khopkar said.
