The 70-year-old security guard, a resident of Wadala, told the girl playing on the road to sit in a taxi as he was a friend of her father and he would drop her to her father’s shop.
The guard took her to a container and raped her. The patrolling police heard the scream of the girl and forced the old man to open the shutter of the container. The girl narrated the entire incident to the police after which the rapist was nabbed.
