According to the Mumbai Police, before murdering Baba Siddiqui, the shooters Gurmail Baljit Singh, Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap and Shiva Gautam stayed in a rented house for Rs 14,000 per month, in Kurla for the past 25-30 days.
They were given weapons 15 days before the firing.
They recced the shooting spot as well as Mr Siddique’s home and office well in advance. The shooters were paid Rs 50,000 each, police said.
The three accused arrived at the shooting spot in an auto rickshaw.
