The 37-year-old Subhash Parshuram Kangane, a Mumbai police constable’s body was found by his friend after he committed suicide at his home in Malad when no one was at home as his wife had gone to her home town with their two children.
The police found a sucide note in which Kangane mentioned that due to stress he was taking the drastic step.
According to the note, someone lodged a complaint to the DCP against his senior officers in his name. In the sucide note, reportedly Kangane called it a ‘fake letter.
The police said they have registered an accidental death report and are verifying the allegations made in the note and are investigating the case.
