No spraying colours and water on pedestrians, no singing obscene songs in public, no using improper gestures, imitate offending acts, or exhibit photographs or other objects that can be deemed indecent, immoral, or offensive to public dignity.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) Akbar Pathan issued the order
urging people to follow the rules to ensure a safe and peaceful festival.
The Mumbai Police have said that they will take strict action against anyone who will break these rules. Special teams will be patrolling roads, party areas, and public places. Additional security will be posted at railway stations, bus stops, and Holi celebration areas to avoid any untoward incidents.
Drink-and-drive tests will be conducted at various points. Anyone found breaking traffic rules will be slapped with hefty fines, licence suspension, or even arrested.
