The attention of the BMC has repeatedly been drawn to the serious violation of the civic norms by the under construction apartment, Darul Mustafa, at D’lima Street, Dockyard Road.
The safety nets have not been cleared of debris since long consequently posing a serious threat of the net collapse which would result in major untoward incident. Secondly, the net is not sufficient enough to cover the entire lanes due to which stones are continuously falling on the people injuring them. The vehicles parked in the lanes are being damaged due to the stones falling on them from the under construction building.
A few moment ago, two persons got injured due to the stones falling on them. Also the front and rear windshields, of a car parked in the lane have been damaged due to the following of stones from Darul Mustafa.
Despite repeated complaints and reminders to the BMC no action has hetero been taken by the civic body. Is it waiting for a major accident to happen before coming in an action mode?
