Hezbollah steps up rocket fire as Israel sends more troops into Lebanon. Hezbollah leader vowed to keep up pressure that has forced thousands of Israelis to abandon their homes near the Lebanese border.
The Israeli military said Hezbollah launched about 180 rockets across the border. Israel’s air force also continued bombarding Lebanon, killing five paramedics, and launched attacks on Syria’s Homs and Hama provinces, damaging a car plant and a military site.
